Although it doesn't sound very child friendly there is a lot for families to do here. We particularly enjoy the glass blowing demonstrations and any interactive exhibits they have on.
It is free to enter although there are sometimes chargeable special events held. There is a lift and plenty of space to get a pram around the exhibitions. If it is a nice day it's nice to have a walk along the riverside as well. Again there is a lot for little eyes to spot; boats and ships on the river as well as the creations on the St Peter's Sculpture Trail.
